Knife Crime Assembly

As part of an expanding initiative across Merseyside, we were delighted to be one of many schools to play host to the Liverpool based ‘Real Men Don’t Carry Knives’ campaign.

Our students in Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 listened intently to Alan Walsh from Anfield Boxing Club who spoke about the devastating impact knife crime has on the local communities and families.

The students engaged in discussion about stereotyping, knife crime consequences and the results of stabbing attacks on the human body. In particular, students were asked to consider the massive impact not only upon the victim but also both the victim's and perpetrator's family, friends and community.
