We were delighted to welcome Mr Phil Thompson Former Liverpool & England Captain into the Academy to speak to Year 11 students. The speech was both inspirational and motivational with a fantastic response from our students. Mr Thompson spoke about his journey into a football career, and emphasised that success for everyone needs to focus on respect, determination, hard work and resilience. Students engaged in deep conversation with Mr Thompson about his career and lessons for life. A truly inspirational visit from one of our cities great ambassadors.
