The De La Salle Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced and talented Catering Manager/Chef to develop, manage and deliver an outstanding catering service for our students.
The ideal candidate must have excellent culinary skills, be creative and have a passion for food while offering excellent customer service skills.
You must capable of running a busy school kitchen providing a healthy, balanced and varied lunch menu using fresh ingredients.
You will be responsible for the daily management of the kitchen, staff training and supervision to ensure a high level of customer service. Compliance with current food hygiene standards, safe working practices and School Food standards are essential.
We are looking for a professional, responsible person who would like to be part of a hard-working, appreciative and supportive team. They must be able to work co-operatively with all members of the academy community and have the skills and knowledge independently to maintain the existing high standards of catering at De La Salle Academy.

The post is covered by the Protection of Children Act and is therefore subject to enhanced DBS clearance.
This post is full-time (37 hours per week) term time plus 5 days and the salary is Grade 5 SCP 17 – 23 New scale (£23,836 - £26,999 pro rata). Actual salary starting from £20,756
