The De La Salle Academy, Liverpool is a growing 11-18 boys' Catholic Academy, situated in north-east Liverpool. Which has recently completed an extensive buildings renovation programme and represents an attractive option for prospective students.

Our mission statement is ‘inspiring people, breaking boundaries,’ which is underpinned by our beliefs which are centred round our Lasallian ethos. 

The De La Salle Academy is committed to safeguarding children and promoting children’s welfare. All posts are subject to all relevant pre-employment checks set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education, including an Enhanced DBS certificate with a barred-list check.

Catering Manager

The governors of The De La Salle Academy are seeking to appoint an outstanding Catering Manager as soon as possible.

The governors are looking for a willing, responsible person who would like to be part of a hard-working, appreciative and supportive team. They will be able to work cooperatively with all members of the academy community but also have the skills and knowledge independently to maintain the existing high standards of catering at the academy.

This post is full time (37 hours per week) term time plus 5 days and the salary is Grade 4 SCP 11 – 17 New scale (£21,166 - £23,836 pro rata). Actual salary starting from £18,560.

Head of maths

We are looking for a passionate and motivational head of maths to join our growing academy. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing leader or someone who is ready to take the next step to make a real difference to the lives of students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The De La Salle Academy is situated in Croxteth, in the north-east area of Liverpool. It is an all-boys Catholic school with a very rich history locally, nationally and internationally within the wider Lasallian family in the U.K. and indeed around the world.

The academy is pushing towards good and as the leader in maths, you would play a significant role in that through the rapid improvement of progress and outcomes.

An understanding of maths mastery would be beneficial to allow a seamless transition and the work already begun in this area to continue to develop.

Teacher of Spanish (Maternity Cover)

The De La Salle Academy is seeking to appoint a teacher of Spanish. This post is to provide maternity cover for a colleague so will be a fixed term contract from Easter for one year. The chosen candidate will possess energy and enthusiasm to engage, challenge and support students in this subject and will make a full contribution to the pastoral life of The De La Salle Academy.
